The July 16 SCoR meeting will begin at 1:00pm EDT in room 1020, One Park Place South on the campus of Georgia State University. Look for the building pictured on the SCoR homepage accompanying the July 16 seminar announcement, the 10-story white building adjacent to the huge neon Coca-Cola sign. One Park Place S is #20 on the campus map.

MARTA
Regarding the MARTA directions: One Park Place South is most easily reached from the Five Points MARTA Station rather than the Georgia State Station. The Five Points Station is at the intersection of both the East-West (Green and Blue) lines and the North-South (Gold and Red) lines. All trains stop at Five Points Station. Exit Five Points Station on the Peachtree St side, look to your left, and you will see the Coca-Cola sign.

If you’re staying in Atlanta and prefer not to drive to campus, you can plan your MARTA trip at the MARTA Website or using Google Maps.

There is also information on parking at the maps site. Visitor parking is available in the G, K, N, and S decks for $6. On a Friday afternoon, there should be plenty of spaces available. Of the GSU decks, the G deck is the most convenient to One Park Place South. There are also commercially operated parking decks and lots in the area, including two on Marietta St/Decatur St steps from One PPS.

Coffee, soft drinks, and cookies will be provided in the mid-afternoon.
